Vikki Paschetto is the costume designer behind the wearable arts and costume accessory label Mascherina.

Hailing from Yorkshire, UK and now based in Los Angeles, she graduated from Edinburgh School of Art in 1999 with a degree in Costume Design and Construction and since then her work has led her all over the world, from wearable arts exhibitions in Madrid, to creating costumes with Wong Kar Wai’s costume squad in Hong Kong, to designing for theatre and ballet in New York.

Vikki opened her own label Mascherina, (meaning Little Mask) in 2008 to combine her love of folklore and fairytales with costume creation. Her intention is to help people to shed their inhibitions and tell their own stories, or create new personas through the medium of dressing up, whether that be for film production and performance, or for an intimate show behind the bedroom doors.

As well as being trained in technical pattern cutting and construction of garments, Vikki has trained in leather craft, wig making, embroidery and ethical taxidermy and continues to teach herself skills that will allow her to bring enchanting creations to life.
